Somerset House
Set in the heart of Central London, in the beautiful Edmond J Safra Fountain courtyard, the Somerset House Ice Skating Rink will allow you to embrace the cool season in style. As well as day time skating sessions with rink-side food, a drinks lodge, and a festive pop-up shop, the rink will also host a programme of cool club nights when the rink will be brought to life with top international DJs!
The ice rink is open from 17th November until 15th January – don’t miss it!
Natural History Museum
With twinkling fairy lights, a magnificent Christmas tree, and an iconic backdrop, the ice skating rink on the Natural History Museum’s east lawn has a truly festive vibe. Open all day and well into the evening from 27 October until 8th January, you’ll also find hot chocolate and mulled wine being served up in the museum’s café, which overlooks the rink.
Oh, and if you’re looking for a cool way to see in 2017, why not get your skates on and welcome in the New Year on the ice? The rink will be open until 12.30 am!
Hampton Court
Set in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace, the former home of Henry VIII, the Hampton Court Ice Rink has a real historical feel! Head there during the early evening to witness the stunning palace light up in an array of beautiful colours whilst you skate. The rink is open from 25 November until 8 January.
Tower of London
Set in the Tower of London’s dry moat, the Tower of London Ice Rink is not to be missed! Make sure you head there after dark to see the historic castle’s walls lit up with hundreds of snowflake lights. Oh, and why not pop into the Eis Haus pop-up ice bar for a warming festive tipple? The Tower of London Ice Rink is open from 16th November until 3rd January.
Winter Wonderland
The Winter Wonderland Ice Skating Rink is the biggest open-air skating rink in the UK. Set in Hyde Park and surrounded by Christmas markets, fairground rides, and festive food and drink stores, this ice rink is nothing short of a real winter wonderland.
Canary Wharf
The Canary Wharf Ice Skating Rink is truly magical with thousands of colourful LED lights sparkling beneath the ice and all around the rink. Open from 4th November until 25 February.
